WINTER INTERNATIONAL BALLET WORKSHOPS

Only two months until the IBW Winter 2018 “Classics to Contemporary” Series, and this time we are bringing THREE international guest teachers to Brisbane.

JAN GONSCAK is a dancer, director, choreographer and teacher from Slovakia, with over 16 years experience working all over Europe. LILY BONES, born in Australia, has had an extensive international career, including dancing with the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Ontario Ballet Theatre, David Campos (Barcelona), South African Ballet Theatre and many more. This inspirational husband and wife team will join NADIA THOMPSON, Co-Director of Ballet Hagen (Germany). Ms. Thompson is also the former Ballet Mistress of the Milwaukee Ballet and Royal New Zealand Ballet, and Repetiteur for Riccardo De Nigris, Michael Pink and Timothy O’Donnell. Over the 3-day workshop, dancers will study Ballet, Contemporary, Repertoire, Pointe, Body Conditioning and more. Special awards and scholarships include:
